He has successfully defended residential and commercial appraisers, appraisal firms, and appraisal management companies accused of negligence or improper activity in their valuation services. Craig has also represented numerous licensed professionals in state licensing matters including real estate brokers, real estate appraisers, appraisal management companies, mortgage loan originators and brokers, and others. He has represented clients in both state and federal lawsuits as well as licensing matters in a number of states. Craig is authorized to practice law in Illinois, Wisconsin, several Federal districts, the United States Court of Appeals, 7th Circuit, and is a member of the trial bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois

Two Step instructions on how to register for the zoom meeting:
1. Please register by the day prior to the meeting at the very latest. Registration for the ZOOM meeting will be closed 24 HOURS before the meeting starts (the evening prior) so we can have a complete registrant list to print out.
You can always register for zoom "just in case" if you are not sure you will be able to come in person, as zoom registration closes 24 hours prior to the event.

After registering on the zoom website, you will be approved by a meeting admin. Then, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about how to join the meeting including a link you can use at the time of the event.
2. Register a second time on the separate CAREA.NET website.
Use the "REGISTER" button to the left or at the bottom of this event description.
This has to be completed for us to be able to track payments. If you are not a CAREA or affiliated member, you will have to pay using PAYPAL only. No checks or cash payments are possible for zoom attendants.
Please note that we only refund your attendance fee for this zoom meeting (if you are not a member) if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.
Notes about Continuing Education Credit:
-If you are not a CAREA member, have not paid for this meeting on the CAREA website with Paypal or have not paid your annual CAREA membership, you ARE WELCOME to attend this meeting for the information provided. You will not have to register on the CAREA.NET website for the zoom meeting. However, you will not be able to receive Continuing Education credit for attending the zoom meeting.
To comply with Colorado BOREA requirements for Synchronous classes the following items will be required for attendees to be eligible for 2 hours of CE.
- Zoom meeting will open 15 minutes prior to the start time of class. Please use this time to check if you can log into the meeting & your technical and electronic systems. Please do not log in last minute but verify that your Zoom registration link, camera and speakers work ahead of time!
- Attendees must be in front of camera for the entire class and be attentive! They may only be excused during designated breaks. Expectations are much like expectations of a student in a face-to-face class.
Any student who is absent, inattentive or off-camera for any length of time during the class may not be eligible for CE credit, even if s/he paid for the class.
- Attendance will be continuously monitored by a CAREA board member.
- Any questions/communication with individual attendees will be submitted via Zoom Chat feature, and it is requested that you monitor Zoom chat window during the entire class.
- Recordings of attendance will be made for audit purposes.
